As part of the 2019 Five Oceans Deeps Expedition, the OMEGA Ultra Deep dived to the deepest point in the Mariana Trench, setting a world record for deep diving watches and creating a milestone legend. Today, OMEGA continues to keep pace with the times, developing this disruptive professional diving watch into a new watch that can be sold to the public. During the product development process, OMEGA tested this watch in a real ocean environment, with a water resistance of up to 6,000 meters (20,000 feet) and passed the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 6425:2018 saturation diving watch certification.
The watch case has a diameter of 45.5 mm and is made of durable O-MEGASTEEL material. The polished black ceramic bezel is decorated with Liquidmetal diving scale. Through the raised arched sapphire glass mirror, you can see the lacquered dial with a gradient effect from blue to black. The white 18K gold hands and hour markers are covered with white Super-LumiNova luminous coating.
The watch is paired with an O-MEGASTEEL bracelet and is equipped with an Omega self-developed retractable push-pull folding clasp with a retractable function. The grade 5 titanium crown on the back of the case is laser-engraved with the Sonar logo and the center is engraved with the Omega iconic seahorse pattern. The watch is equipped with the Omega 8912 Master Chronometer movement.
